Seeking an operations manager for our bus company, located at Riverview (Ipswich).

Essential attributes.

Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both customers and staff.

Ability to think on your feet and make informaed decisions quickly.

Knowledge of the transport industry, including a basic mechanical aptitude (For evaluating minor issues over the phone and advising service technicians of detailed issues)

MR drivers licence or equivelent.

Current Qld Transport drivers authorisation.

Duties include charter co-ordination, driver allocation and HR management, Co-ordination of vehicle servicing requirements and maintenance of our fleet of 14 buses and coaches, supervision of approximately 10 staff.

May be required to step in at short notice occasionally and fill in on a school run due to late driver illness, so essential that our six school runs are familiar.

Salary.

Salary negotiable dependant on experience.

Salary will include base salary (to be negotiated) a company car, phone provided, four weeks annual leave and the opportunity to work with a small family company.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
