We are searching for a motivated and passionate volunteer coordinator to recruit and assist KNC’s volunteers. KNC is a not-for-profit, community led organisation that has volunteers in a variety of roles, including administration, transport, companionship and friendly phone calls. A friendly, organised person would be the ideal point of information staff member to assist volunteers and schedule in volunteer services.

Key duties would be:

- Creating and uploading advertisements for volunteer roles and interviewing and recruiting volunteers along with ensuring they have the appropriate documentation e.g. police check for the role
- Coordinating volunteer events and programs e.g. thank you lunches
- Attending expos and events to promote KNC as a volunteer organisation
- Identifying any obstacles in communication or workflow in operations and suggest alternate solutions to improve processes
- Scheduling volunteers and recording volunteer shifts using scheduling software and excel spreadsheets

Relevant Skills and Experience:

- 2+ years in similar coordination roles preferred but not essential
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork skills
- Strong organisational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
