Oakmane Transport is a contractor to the Assisted School Transport Program. We provide an essential service of transport for students with additional needs to and from school in the Greater Port Macquarie Hastings & Central Coast Regions.

We are currently looking for drivers & Assisted School Travel Officers (ATSO's) in the Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Camden Haven, Kempsey area for casual work.

Working for Oakmane gives you the opportunity to help families within your community, who need support getting their children to and from school.

As a Student Transport Driver & ATSO, you would will have the flexibility of never working in school holidays, weekends or public holidays.

**Drivers
- ATSO's**are entrusted with the safe transport of students to and from school in the morning and afternoons leaving the middle of the day at your leisure. Each school run is different and will either be in a people mover, or a minibus.

**What we're looking for**
- Drivers must be friendly, polite, reliable & flexible.
- Drivers Licence with good driving record
- Hold or eligible for a WWCC
- Medical Doctor clearance.
- Senior first aid including anaphylactic training.
- Experience in working with students, particularly in a transportation or support capacity is an advantage;
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with students
- A patient, understanding, and compassionate nature
- Commitment to providing a safe and comfortable journey for all students

**What you'll be doing**
- Drivers will safely transport students to and from their schools
- ATSO's will not be required to drive
- Providing a caring, patient, and supportive environment for students during transportation
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
