As a Finance Graduate, you’ll play a meaningful role in the operation of our business finances through financial planning, reporting, and analysis, helping us to maximise value and set the business up for decades of further success.
**What will I be doing?**
Working in our Finance function you'll rotate through three teams over the 2-year programme, being exposed to most functions in the finance division to give you the richest experience.
**Some teams in the rotations you will be working with include**:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - a team that uses a set of planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities to support O’Brien’s business decisions and to monitor the businesses financial performance.
- Financial Control - a team that has accounting oversight of O’Brien’s financial records. In this team you will be exposed to statutory accounts, regulatory compliance, audit, asset accounting and systems accounting.
- Commercial Pricing - a team that is responsible for analysing competitor pricing, matched with market expectation. to determine the ideal target price for products and services of the O’Brien business.
- Strategic Projects - you may be involved in projects as part of your programme. Our teams also lead and deliver transformation and business improvement change across the Finance function which improves our ways of working and enables enhanced business performance.
**Who we’re looking for**
To be eligible for this role, you must have graduated, or expect to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Commerce. You must also be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or hold Australian Permanent Residency.
