Australian owned and operated, our client is a market leader with an extended network in Australia and abroad.

This highly successful business has experienced an extended period of recent growth that has them poised to embark on its most exciting phase yet. Accordingly, a rare opportunity is available for an experienced and capable Finance Inventory Analyst to join the Finance team, located in the inner Melbourne suburbs

**ROLE PURPOSE**
Working closely with business unit managers, our client are looking for a Finance Inventory Analyst to drive commercial outcomes for the business, supporting both monthly financial reporting, analysis and KPI reporting.

This role will provide independent analytical support and commercial advice to both management and other key stakeholders, to execute on strategy whilst ensuring positive financial outcomes and maintaining appropriate controls.

This role will report to the CFO but will work closely with the Finance Manager on finance support and administration matters.

**EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Strong financial background with a clear understanding of accounting and budgeting principles.
- Able to build financial models along with scenario/sensitivity analysis that ensure our strategic objectives are achieved.
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to connect and influence various parts of the business to add strategic and operational value.
- Commercially astute with the ability to understand commercial contracts and identify financial drivers.
- Collect, organise and decipher data into business insights and reports that stakeholders can easily understand and utilise.
- Experience designing KPI structures and reporting that align with desired outcomes.
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office Suite, data visualization and business intelligence software, ERP experience desirable).
- Works well under pressure, to tight deadlines and be able to multitask effectively.
- Graduate qualification - preferably with a business, commerce, or economics major.
- Qualified accountant, with CPA or CA preferred.
- At least 5-10 years’ experience in a commercial or business analytical role.
- Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.
