Fitter and Turner

We are a fast-paced, innovative Engineering workshop in the heart of the Scenic Rim. From machining and turning specialised components, to rebuilding hydraulic rams, and fabricating anything you can think of in-between. No two days are the same at Wessling Engineering.

We are seeking a qualified Fitter and Turner whose skills and work ethic will compliment our scope of works;
**Metal workshop jobs,**
- Manual lathe operations
- Manual milling machine operations
- Surface grinding
- Custom tool building (for specialised jobs)

**Fabrication / Welding**
- Ability to fabricate using a variety of mediums, e.g. steel, aluminium, stainless
- Design new products to meet customer needs
- Complete repairs on existing products to take into consideration the purpose of use and customer needs.

**Must;**
- have hold a qualification that fits/compliments the facet of work listed above
- forklift licence (advantageous)
- manual drivers licence
- be fit and motivated
- ability to work both as part of a team and independently on a variety of tasks

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beaudesert, QLD 4285: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
