My Support Services is a provider of high-quality care services to individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a Support Worker with mental health experience to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with mental health and other disabilities to enable them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing support to individuals with mental health, including medication administration, and prompting
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, promoting personal hygiene, and household chores
- Assisting with the management of medical appointments and liaising with healthcare professionals
- Encouraging and supporting individuals to participate in social and recreational activities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with individuals with mental health is essential
- A caring and compassionate attitude towards individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Disability Support or Higher
- First Aid
- NDIS worker screening
- NDIS workers orientation

**Salary**: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Caulfield VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
