Wagtime Co. Daycare is a boutique pet destination located in the leafy suburb of Camberwell.
Opportunities available to work within a supportive and energetic team, with a shared passion for dogs, in a purpose-built facility created with safety, fun, and the highest standards of cleanliness and care in mind.
Our daycare groups are focused on behavioural management, enrichment, and safety, ensuring every individual in the facility receives the care and attention they need.
Shifts will be required between the hours of 7am - 7pm, Monday-Friday.
**The Role**
Daycare Attendants are responsible for supervising groups of dogs, managing and monitoring their behaviour and providing enrichment through various activities throughout the day.
Dog Daycare Attendants are responsible for the following:
- Animal husbandry (maintaining the highest levels of animal husbandry/hygiene).
- Dog introductions & supervising dog groups.
- Check in and check our procedures, including communicating with customers and providing feedback and advice.
- Maintaining the highest level of safety for dogs and team members.
- Cleaning and associated tasks related to daily functioning and facility upkeep.
- High levels of customer service and professionalism.
- Shop sales and shop related tasks.
- Assist with daily social media and marketing activities.
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Certificate in Dog Training and/or Animal Studies desirable.
- Previous experience in handling dogs desirable.
- An excellent level of physical fitness required, as the position requires you to be highly active.
- Outstanding customer service & communication skills required.

- Capable of working at a good speed and managing your time effectively.
- Able to work independently yet under guidance as needed.
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes.
- Highly observant and have excellent attention to detail.
- High level of patience and empathy.
- Have a desire to learn, or to continue developing your skills with dog behaviour
- Have a genuine interest and desire to provide the highest level of service to both the dog and human client.

Pay: $29.33 - $31.23 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
