In our Continuing Educational work, we develop and deliver continuing education seminars, courses and programmes for other Veterinary Professionals, Trainers, and the General Public. **About the Role**:
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team at our Behaviour Referral Consulting Rooms in Arana Hills. The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth running of administrative tasks, coordinate communication, and provide excellent customer service. You will be the first point of call for Healthy Pet Veterinary Services clients. You will report to the Practice Director and will be an integral part of the team. You will thrive in the tasks of providing administrative services and organisation, and get a ‘kick’ out of providing exceptional communication to clients, referring professionals, and your colleagues. This is a varied and enjoyable position for an individual that flourishes with a variety of tasks, is organised, punctual and efficient. You will not be bored This is a part-time role, working at our purpose-built behaviour consulting rooms in Arana Hills. Business hours are 9am - 4pm Monday to Thursday.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitating the smooth running of administration tasks and supporting your colleagues’ in performing their duties.
- Welcoming clients, patients, collecting, entering and updating details
- Understanding the various components of the practice: Behaviour Assessment Process; Treatment and Training Programmes; Continuing Education Seminars & Courses
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-ups
- Coordinating correspondence with clients and referring professionals
- Collating and organising patient information prior to, and after assessments and appointments
- Entering and processing patient billing
- Taking payments and corresponding admin tasks
- Coordinating chronic medication requests, taking payments and organising collection/postage
- Monitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patients and clients
- Involvement in Marketing and Promoting the Practice, its Services and Events
- Supporting Healthy Pets' WHS
- Modelling and promoting Healthy Pets' vision and values
- Responsibility for Reception and Waiting Area Presentation
- General Cleaning

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in a similar role within the Veterinary or Healthcare industry (at least 3 years)
- Excellent Organisational, Time Management and Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to communicate with clarity and skill both verbally and in written form
- Experience with Practice Management Software and ability to use computer systems
