As an Information Support Specialist, you will provide information management services to support asset management, construction and maintenance activities, including receipt, registration, recording, storage and retrieval of technical and engineering drawings, entry of and analysis of any other relevant data or information across the Powerlink network. This often is in the form of Drawing or Document Control and Management. The role also supports all Digital Engineering initiatives relevant to the role. **About the role**: The purpose of the role is to support Powerlink in the preparation and distribution of drawings and manuals for the use in construction and maintenance activities. The role is a technical role with process driven activities. Processes are clearly defined and activities are supported by a small group of staff performing the same role. Your key accountabilities will include: - Delivery of technical information utilising CAD tools, drawing management systems, project control processes and contract delivery models to support the receipt, registration, recording, storage & retrieval of technical documents, records and configuration data taking into account security, reliability and fit for purpose, financial/legal risks and customer needs. - Create solutions by analysing data/information from the drawing management system to enhance the Information services capability to meet the business need. - Establish and maintain a strong information customer service relationship with internal and external stakeholders including external design and construction partners’ and including Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs). - Interface and provide solutions where conflicting project priorities exists for external stakeholders including design and construction partners and MSP’s to ensure timely access to technical information whilst maintaining established security protocols within Powerlink. - Develop and maintain technical products and quality standards to ensure they are suitable for their intended purpose and meet Powerlink compliance requirements. - Document and maintain relevant team business processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy of service. **About you**: You will have formal qualifications in Information/Document Management, Document Control or equivalent discipline, preferably at Degree level (or equivalent professional experience). You will be a person who likes following process and meeting customers’ expectations. You will have a strong appetite for change and lead by example.
