**Project Based Expert Opinion Reporting**

We are seeking experienced slip resistance testing technicians and consultants. Applicants who have qualifications and background in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and/or Ergonomics will be favoured.

The successful applicant will complete slip resistance testing at sites in Sydney and broader NSW, and provide expert opinion in personal injury matters related to those sites. They will review and analyse injury accidents and provide opinion in those matters to assist legal and court proceedings.

You will have the relevant background to immediately carry out the following:

- Carry out interviews with persons involved in personal injury claims. As required, this may include employees, employers, members of the public and relevant others;
- Inspect accident sites, and perform slip resistance testing to Australian Standard AS 4663-2013;
- Examine and analyse documents, materials and other sources of information;
- Determine how and why an incident or injury occurred;
- Identify relevant Australian safety standards and ergonomic guidance material;
- Make liability assessments - Who was at fault? And why?;
- Set out your findings and expert opinion in report form;
- Communicate with lawyer clients; and
- Occasionally provide oral evidence in court.

We provide assistance with personal injury legal matters, including Work Injury Damages and Public Liability. We have worked directly with personal injury and insurance lawyers since 1996. We have worked with over 200 different legal firms in the development of over 3000 expert opinion reports. We have provided reports on injuries and incidents relating to manual handling, repetitive overuse, slips, trips, and falls, machinery accidents, bullying, harassment and violence, amongst others.

We provide our services to a range of industries including manufacturing, heavy engineering, mining, transport, construction, retail, health care, agriculture, education, entertainment and many more. David Dubos Consulting has assignments nationally across Australia in all states, as well as in South East Asia and New Zealand.

Results are achieved with safety management, ergonomics, safety engineering and training, and resources and money are saved. However, the intangible results of injuries and accidents prevented are difficult to measure in monetary terms, with benefits reaped in good will and reputation. The safety of employees and the public in many respects is beyond worth.
