**IST Desktop Support Supervisor**

- IST remit includes selection, implementation and support of data production systems and process control systems_
- (PCS), PCS and data standards, OT servers and network, IT& OT cybersecurity, data systems and PCS stand‐alone_
- projects and OT component of large projects such as new plants and expansions. As well as supporting end users_
- with required hardware and software, networking and user support._
**About the Role**
This newly created role will be a vital part of the IT Team.
This role is based at Site, in Greenbushes; however, occasional travel to Perth will be required.
The role will:
Provide a rapid and efficient resolution service to users with escalated desktop technical issues.
Ensure faults are either rectified within a specified timeframe or escalated.
Ensure escalation procedures from the Helpdesk are communicated and followed.
Ensure that desktop performance and reliability is maintained within agreed service levels.
Manage the resources of the Desktop Support group.
Manage the recruitment of new employees and the professional development of existing
employees.
Fostering and implementing process improvement methodologies to continually enhance
desktop support performance.
Ensure call support and technical documentation is maintained by the support team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Well‐developed management skills in planning and scheduling, together with the ability to lead
and motivate a team of specialist staff.
Experienced in all aspects of IT Support.
Quickly become knowledgeable of Talison’s IT infrastructure, operating systems and software.
Experience in process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional customer service focus.
High attention to detail in all that you do
Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in communicating with
stakeholders at all levels
High level of initiative, organisational skills, ability to multi‐task and to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills
