**The Opportunity**
Goal Group is seeking a number of experienced Life-Cycle Costing Specialists / Senior Life-Cycle Costing Specialists to join our team, working on high profile Defence capital acquisition program or as part of an embedded Program Management Office (PMO) within Defence.

Your role may involve the following, depending on the program:

- Develop life-cycle models and advise on the appropriate costing techniques across the various stages of the life-cycle.
- Analyse options and validate project/program models to assess against capability operating requirements, appropriate standards and feasibility given financial provisions.
- Ensure cost risk assessment and other cost and financial information is accurately maintained and reported.
- Conduct strategic and program level analysis into cost and financial matters and development program level financial views.
- Perform cost estimation, advisory and assurance support for capability development.
- Develop simple training content around cost modelling.

**Experience/Skills Sought**
- Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience in financial costing.
- Recent or current Australian Defence experience.
- Understanding of Defence processes and structure.
- Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Ability to provide and deliver strategic level advice, presentations, and reports.
