**GOTAFE** is a vocational education provider in regional Victoria, with a focus on building a better community by inspiring people to succeed. With major campuses in Shepparton, Wangaratta and Seymour, GOTAFE offers over 160 accredited and non-accredited courses, focusing on key sectors such as health, community services, agriculture and trades. GOTAFE works to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive while ensuring our region's workforce remains agile and responsive to evolving industry needs.

The GOTAFE Board is an experienced and talented group of Board Directors responsible for overseeing and governing GOTAFE efficiently and effectively. Every TAFE Board is accountable to the Minister for Skills and TAFE for the educational and financial performance of its organisation.

The GOTAFE Board meets at least 6 times a year with Board Directors expected to attend at least 75% of Board meetings. Some meetings are in person and others are online.

GOTAFE also has 2 Board sub
- committees:

- Audit, Risk and Finance Committee
- People, Culture, Remuneration and Succession Committee

These sub committees meet once per quarter.

There is also an expectation that Board Directors attend local community events to represent GOTAFE in local communities.

This position offers a 3 year term and a competitive base salary and superannuation. There are also additional committee fees for Board Committee work. All Board members are eligible for reappointment and reimbursement of reasonable out of pocket expenses.
