The Role
As a Teacher in Senior College and Community Pathways, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment to a wide range of clients through:
QCAA Senior Curriculum Years 11 & 12,
Utilising the Wellington Point Boat Shed facility to deliver practical training to students in the marine environment,
Building positive collaborative working relationships with students,
Maintaining contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies that engage young people, and
Provide innovative teaching practices that focus on building student engagement and success.
We have an exciting Temporary part-time (0.72 FTE), Teacher position for immediate commencement until 30 June 2026 (unless otherwise determined). You will deliver in our Science and Aquatics Practices fields within our Senior College and Community Pathways team at TAFE Queensland's Alexandra Hills Campus.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a part-time (0.72FTE) Teacher Step 1 - 4 is $64,655.51 - $73,202.35 (gross) per annum and ranging up to Senior Teacher 1 3 which is $76,038.78 - $80,922.70 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
**Applicants must possess the following**:
Must hold full Queensland College of Teachers registration
Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of QCAA and QCT requirements
Current Queensland Driver's license.
Highly Desirable
Experience working with young people aged between 15 to 18 years in a senior studies (Year 11 and 12) school environment,
Experience working with QCAA curriculum Year 11 & 12,
Knowledge and experience in the marine environment, and
Relevant boat license accreditations.
