**MAINTENANCE FITTER**

**Revesby location**

**Rate: $50-$60 p/h for casual ongoing**

Our client is a global leader in the delivery of comprehensive science-based solutions, data-driven insights and world-class service to advance food safety, they help; maintain clean and safe environments, optimise water and energy use, and improve operational efficiencies and sustainability for customers throughout the world.

They currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Maintenance Fitter. This position available on a casual, full-time ongoing basis with possible long-term employment opportunities pending performance of work and will be located at their plant in Revesby, NSW 2212.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Machine and plant maintenance
- Set up and adjustments of machines
- Troubleshooting of production and plant equipment
- Preventative and general maintenance of plant and equipment; Weld: Mig, tig and stick in a straight maintenance role brackets and such and not high-pressure pipe
- Quality control
- Meeting production targets
- Set up and shut down of plant
- Stock ordering

**Requirements**:

- Australian recognised trade qualification
- Prior experience in a production environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proven stainless welding experience
- Able to demonstrate safety background training with a comprehensive understanding of procedures and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
- Good communicator (Verbal and written)
- Be Covid19 vaccinated (Double)
