Bartender/supervisor

**WHO WE ARE**:
Uptown Vibes is a modern all day-venue and bar offering a unique dining experience in the heart of Braddon. We are looking for responsible and reliable bartenders and wait staff to take the lead and work closely with the owners and the kitchen team to bring this establishment to new heights. We are looking to fill multiple positions on a part-time / casual basis (with the possibility of full-time hours). Uptown Vibes is located on Lonsdale St in Braddon.

**As a member of the front-of-house/floor staff team, your main responsibilities will include the following**:

- High level of customer service and awareness
- Take pride in making and serving quality food and drinks
- Be hands-on and willing to learn new skills in your role
- Ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with team members and customers
- Reliability and flexibility to work around a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
- A friendly and outgoing personality suited to the hospitality industry
- Immaculate grooming and presentation.
- Clear and reset tables and ensure tables and service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practices

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar front-of-house position
- Hold a current RSA certificate
- Have a positive and proactive attitude
- Barista and/or Bartending experience is a huge plus
- Confident in using point of sale (POS) systems and cash handling
- Work well independently and within a team

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
