**The Service**

**KU Braddon is in a beautiful tree lined street in Canberra’s Inner North **, walking distance from the city, and offers beautiful outdoor environments. The outdoor learning environments were architecturally designed by a well-known landscaping group in Canberra, featuring a unique water pumping station, decks and quality finishes.

KU Braddon provides a calm, loving place for children to socialise with other children - with a philosophy that care and education must be combined in planning for the needs, interests and skills of each child.

**The Role**

KU Braddon is looking for an educator with a **completed **diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care **and who values partnering with families, is a team player, takes initiative and wants to join a capable and dedicated team.

**This is a permanent full time position which will see you working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day on a rotating roster while accruing **ONE **Monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).**

**What are we looking for?**

We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are.

**In addition, you will have**:

- Unlimited work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- Current Working With Vulnerable People Check.
- A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Current Child Protection training
- A current First Aid certificate and separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
