How you will make an impact:
As an Orderly in our Cardiorespiratory department, you will enjoy working in a supportive team and be committed to providing a high standard of patient care. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is willing to work up to full-time hours (if required) on a weekly basis with the initiative and energy to work and develop in a fast-paced environment. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Transporting patients, equipment and courier items around the hospital- Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff- Providing a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff- Contributing positively to the team and other departments by cooperating and communicating effectively- Performing cleaning duties and maintaining cleanliness of equipment

What you will bring to the role:
- Ability to work 38 hours per week over a variety of shifts- Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team- Ability to take direction effectively- Sound communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
