In-person Maths Tutor

**We're Hiring: In-Person Maths Tutor (VCE + Years 7-10)**
Locations: Ivanhoe, Alphington, Northcote, Thornbury, Richmond or from your own home
$55/hour | Min. 6 students

**Insight Tutors** is a small team of passionate, down-to-earth tutors who care about more than just marks — we help students build confidence, understand their learning gaps, and feel motivated to improve. We’re looking for someone to join our in-person tutoring team for 2025.

About the role:

- Casual tutoring, mostly after school hours
- Work with Year 7-10 students and VCE students (General Maths and Methods)
- Must be available for **at least 6 students (more is welcome)**:

- Sessions take place:

- At **Ivanhoe Library**, or any nearby library in **Alphington, Northcote, Thornbury, Richmond**,
- Or from **your own home** if suitable for hosting students

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is **confident teaching Maths**: Year 7-10, VCE General, and VCE Methods
- Can explain concepts clearly and connect well with students
- Is reliable, professional, and well-organised
- Can commit to regular sessions across the school term
- Ideally female — many of our students and parents request a relatable female role model

- You must have atleast 2 years of tutoring experience, and are you confident in vce methods and general maths and 7-10 maths?
- Are you able to tutor in person at ivanhoe library, or any library near alphington, northcote, thorbury, richmond etc or to tutor from their own home?
