**The Role**

We are local family owned business in Croydon NSW, situated at Croydon Tennis Centre and have access to unique grounds where children can explore and enjoy themselves.

We are looking to appoint a Part-Time Trainee OOSH Educator to work in our Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care OOSH service. This role would be ideal for a recent school leaver to commence employment and tertiary education at the same time. As this is a traineeship, University enrolled applicants and those with a qualification above a Cert III are not suited to be considered.

We are looking for another staff member who is friendly, fun, confident, creative and great with children. You will work alongside enthusiastic and motivated staff who are dedicated to working with school aged children and providing new, unique and exciting programs for them.

The role would comprise of morning and afternoon shifts ranging 6.30am-7pm Monday-Friday with a range of 20 - 30hrs per week with the potential to work more hours during Vacation Care time (public school holidays).

**About you**
- **Essential requirements**_ for this position are:

- Working with children check (WWCC) (Over 18)
- A current First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification or willingness to undertake training in this area within 30 days.
- The ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families.
- Ability to work and contribute to a team
- Great communication skills
- Enthusiastic and hardworking
- Creative and patient
- Child Protection Training (must be completed within 90days)
- **Desirable but not Essential**_
- Centre based experience within the child care industry
- Knowledge of National Quality and My Time Our Place Frameworks
- Qualifications in Children's Education or equivalent
