Coles Technology is undergoing an exciting Modern Technology Operations journey as part of delivering our refreshed Technology Strategy and Roadmap.

**About the role**

You will play a critical role in the evolution of Coles Technology Monitoring & Observability capabilities and team members. This includes day to day delivery of current platforms as well as being at the forefront of delivering modernised observability solutions and ways of working.

The Platform Manager Monitoring & Observability has accountability for
- Day to day ‘BAU’ operations of systems and platforms that enable Enterprise Monitoring, observability, and end point management.
- Leading a high performing team of engineers to deliver high quality platforms and services.
- Leading important initiatives to optimise platform performance and increase customer experience.

**About you**:

- You are a seasoned technical SME in Monitoring and Observability practices and platforms, able to hit the ground running.
- An experienced people leader, with experience leading and motivating teams through transformational change.
- Strategic thinker
- able to look at the bigger picture, articulate strategic goals and break these down in actionable pieces of work.
- High level of business acumen.
- Hands on experience leading cross-functional teams\squads and aligning team members around a common goal.
- Experience supporting Technology platforms at scale in complex, multi-stakeholder, and matrixed environments.
- Skilled problem solver.
- Strong communication skills.
- Growth mindset
