Dental Assistant and Receptionist

We are looking for a Dental Assistant and a Receptionist (highly preferred with experience) to join our practice on a part-time or casual basis, to start ASAP.

The Dental Assistant role (working 2 to 3 days/week) will include:

- working with the Dentists to perform treatment on patients
- working efficiently in maintaining infection control including sterilisation
- setting up rooms between patients depending on clinical needs
- patient care and management
- monitoring and assisting in clinical stock check
- open to learning receptionist duties
- other administration duties as required

The Receptionist role (working 3 to 4 days/week including Monday and Friday) will include:

- greeting patient and first point of contact
- answering phone calls
- scheduling appointments
- processing payments and banking daily
- managing patient recalls, reminders and outstanding treatments
- monitoring and assisting in clinical and clerical stock check
- open to learning dental assisting and sterilisation duties
- other administration duties as required

Skills required:

- At least 6 months dental assistant or receptionist experience in a dental practice is highly preferred
- Sound understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols is desirable
- Ability to follow instructions, be flexible with tasks and to work well in a team environment
- Strong telephone, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Good time management
- High attention to details and accuracy
- Strong positive, helpful attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Experience with Dental 4 Window and Microsoft Office software is desirable
- Professional presentation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
