**Job Title: Casual Retail Sales Associate**

**Location: On Site, Ferntree Gully, VIC 3156**

**Job Type: Casual, 14 hours per week**

**Pay Level: Level 3 Casual, General Retail Industry Award + Superannuation.**

**Start Date: Immediate**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We're seeing a driven retail salesperson who can take our bulk foods store to new heights

This role is in-store and customer-facing, with a current expectation of 14 hours per week.

Strong experience in sales is essential Experience in social media, marketing, merchandising, or the health industry are at an advantage.

Your primary focus will be on increasing in-store revenue, but you'll also keep us active and engaging daily on social media to broaden our audience, lead merchandising efforts and ensure the store is well-run and visually appealing, including refilling stock and cleaning.

Though remuneration is at management level, you won’t be required to manage other team members at this time. Instead, you’ll be working independently during your shifts and checking in daily with store owners.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a strong understanding of our product range and benefits.
- Create daily, engaging social media content (mainly Instagram) and be aware of current trends to boost our online presence.
- Collaborate with management to set daily tasks and targets, taking initiative to complete them independently and efficiently.
- Work closely with management to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Accurately record sales, handle cash and ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Lead merchandising efforts and maintain the store’s presentation.
- Perform general store cleaning and refill heavy stock (at times 25+ kg).

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Proven experience with high-conversion sales.
- Skilled in merchandising and creating effective product displays.
- You have a passion for promoting low-waste living
- Confident and approachable.
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge and effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram preferred), to promote the store and its products.
- Ability to work independently while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, self-motivated and organised.
- Able to problem-solve and align with management’s vision while working independently.
- Able to work effectively with management.
- Engage in general store cleaning and physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 25+ kg).

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- On-site location: Ferntree Gully.
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
- A minimum of 3+ years of retail experience, with management experience preferred.
- Merchandising experience is an advantage.
- Social media (for business) experience is an advantage.
- Able to lift heavy items (usually up to 15kg, but occasionally up to 25+kg).
