**About the role**
As the Lifestyle Assistant you will assist with the the planning and delivery of Council's Social Support Day Centre activities.

Council's Social Support Program provides older people with opportunities for friendship and social activities in a supportive environment.

In the role you will:

- Enriching the lives of our customers and making a real difference to them
- Develop and deliver high quality activities that focus on the intellectual, emotional, physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs of customers.
- Plan and organise outings
- Clean activity areas, equipment and materials
- Drive a 12-seater vehicle to collect customers from their home and/or take on outings.

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV Leisure & Health, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, III or IV in Community Services (Aged Care) or equivalent certificate
- Experience in working with frail older people and people with dementia
- Experience in program development and delivery
- Ability to drive a 12-seater vehicle and valid drivers licence
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

**Other information**
- This position is located at Council's Day Centre in Leila Road, Carnegie.
