Make an Impact: Contribute to the growth and success by managing indirect tax compliance and governance for Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

- FBT Management:Preparation and filing of Fringe Benefits Tax returns for Australia and New Zealand, maintaining compliance and reporting on FBT-sensitive accounts.
- GST / WET Compliance: Handle GST/WET returns and ensure proper taxation treatment of transactions across the business. Manage the WET quotation register and liaise with teams on eligibility for new products.
- Customs & Excise: Oversee customs and excise returns for AU and NZ businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Tax Process Improvement:Contribute to ongoing tax process and system improvements across the region.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with Pernod Ricard departments, external tax advisors, and tax authorities such as ATO and IRD to ensure seamless tax compliance and reporting.
- Tax Reporting:Prepare detailed tax reconciliations and reports, including FBT, GST, WET, excise, and withholding tax, ensuring accuracy for senior management review.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:

- At least 4 years' experience in tax or finance (preferably in a large corporate or chartered accounting firm).
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, law, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand tax laws.
- Excellent spreadsheet skills (Excel) and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer-service oriented approach.

Desirable:

- Experience in the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards, Power BI, and RPA tools.
- Membership with a globally recognized accounting body.
