**About the Opportunity**

We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator** to join our Campbells Preston team on a **casual basis**. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient checkout service, ensuring accurate transactions and a positive shopping experience.

**In this Role**
- Operate checkout register and process transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payment methods securely
- Assist with bagging and packing customer purchases
- Monitor stock levels at checkout and replenish as needed
- Support store team with general duties when required
- Follow all safety and operational procedures

- Have experience in retail or customer service (checkout/cashier experience preferred)
- Are friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Are reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Are adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pay close attention to detail and take initiative
- Are available for flexible shifts, including weekends
