Firbank Grammar School, Sandringham co-ed Campus is looking for an energetic, caring and enthusiastic ELC specialist to work with our amazing team in our Long Day Care program.
**About the role**:
The role of the Early Learning Centre Co-educator Person in Charge (PIC) is to plan, prepare, implement and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program for our before school, after school and holiday programs. Supported by a team of professional, caring and enthusiastic early childhood qualified staff, you will overlook the operations and routines of this important part of our Firbank ELC program. It is expected that you will demonstrate effective knowledge of the National Quality Framework and embed this understanding in your practice.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage Qikkids and finalise the reports each Monday
- Program plan
- Manage healthy menu and food ordering for BSC and ASC
- Create a holiday program with incursion sourcing and bookings
- Manage staffing for holiday program and liase with agencies to fill any absences
- Ensure that all regulations and laws are adhered to and documents are filled in accordance to policies and procedures.
- Lock up at the end of each day
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved Diploma qualifications in Early Childhood - minimum requirement
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
**EXPERIENCE**
- Worked in a Day Care/Early Learning Centre and/or school environment
- An understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulations
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively and appropriately with young children and their families
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues
- Knowledge of QikKids desirable.

**This is a Full time (48 weeks per year), ongoing role, Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm.**
**Annual Salary from $78,000+ (Inclusive of super)**
