An opportunity has become available for qualified Radiographer to join the Imaging Radiology team in a Permanent Full time role, located at Nepean Hospital.
The RIS/PACS Manager is responsible for Systems Management, Service Delivery, Policy and Systems Development. Your role will ensure that quality, training, development of professional relationships are maintained and implemented in all aspects of the RIS/PACS System.
In conjunction with the IT Department, your role will see you trouble shoot and rectify any problems with access to RIS-PACS, ensure that processes are in place to facilitate appropriate and timely escalation of any problems associated with the RIS-PACS systems, Develop, facilitate and evaluate RIS-PACS training programs for Medical Imaging staff and develop and implement new workflows as required.

**What you will bring to the role**:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science, and a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in information technology.
- Proven experience managing a complex, enterprise wide IT solution across a major healthcare environment comparable to Nepean Blue Mountains LHD.
- Possess a thorough understanding and knowledge of RIS (Radiology Information system), PACS (Pictures Archiving and Communication System) and medical imaging workflow and modalities within a large hospital setting. This will also require the ability to manage & interpret clinical data, ensuring the integrity of patient records.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a data management system, DICOM integration and other related hardware and software.
- Proven experience gathering and analysing complex data using query and analytic tools, generating reports and presenting information appropriately to the intended audience.
- Proven experience communicating effectively with key stakeholder groups from end users through to executives
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service delivery, with a history of successfully negotiating beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including ability to work as part of a team and to be responsive to the changing needs of the organisation/end user.
