**What You Will Be Doing**

The Emergency Department (ED) Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or Administration Manager. They are responsible for providing a professional, welcoming, and informative reception to patients and visitors within the unit. Additionally, they offer efficient and effective clerical support, including managing registration, transfers and discharges, while always respecting and maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology (desirable)
- Previous experience in a health care setting (desiable)
