Pharmacy Assistant/dispensary Technician

The store for the past decade has been run as an independent pharmacy but has been recently purchased by Thrive Pharmacy. In the coming months the store will undergo an exciting relocation, expansion and transition to Discount Drug Store. Our pharmacy is located at the Kallangur Fair Shopping Centre, 1473 Anzac Ave Kallangur. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and friendly individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. Some basic experience with dispensing would be greatly welcomed. This is a fulltime position at 38hours per week. The roster may involve weekday and weekend shifts. Reporting to Retail Manager the Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for predominantly delivering your feel-good customer service on our front & back counters (greeting customers, answering queries, making recommendations etc), assisting with dispensing when needed, promoting our vitamins department, as well as a variety of the jobs such as: setting up catalogues, stock management tasks, promoting in-store initiatives to customers, as well as a variety of admin tasks when needed. - Have great knowledge of pharmacy products - Have at least 1 year of dispensary experience in a community pharmacy. - Delight customers and deliver exceptional customer service - Having a caring nature that enables you to come from place of care with customers and fellow team members. - Be able to work independently as well as a member of the pharmacy team - Have solid communication skills and a friendly demeanor - Have high attention to detail - Demonstrate a great work ethic; be reliable, honest, proactive, hardworking, and accountable for results - Able to work independently and accurately with great attention to detail - Be reliable, honest, and self-motivated - Be willing to participate in the ongoing development and learn new skills If you are a self-motivated and energetic individual with, have the willingness to develop, possess a "can-do attitude", then we would like to hear from you.
