APG are looking for people to work within our client’s poultry processing factory, working in the front end on a fast-paced production line.

You will need to be suitably qualified for this **halal certified slaughterman** position, preferably experienced in a similar role and meet the below selection criteria:

- Hard working and 100% reliable for this key position
- No birds, chickens, or pigs at home
- Own car and driver’s licence
- Flexible for shift work and early morning starts 4.00am, Monday to Friday on a weekly roster including overtime in peak periods - weekends and public holidays if required
- Achieve client’s daily production targets
- Must be able to provide a HALAL declaration of faith or Islamic organisation certification card.
- Be fit and healthy for labour intensive/manual handling work - this position is very physically demanding
- Capable of fast, heavy lifting and comfortable working around live birds in dirty areas
- Be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10-hour shifts
- Available for an immediate start
