Tour Guide

Red Lantern is a start up adventure company specialising in unique and immersive nature experiences.

We offer a range of tours, including hiking, overnight camping, and wild weddings, set in some of Australia’s most stunning natural landscapes: the Blue Mountains, Kosciuszko National Park, and Wollemi National Park and more.

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guides to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves nature and enjoys sharing their passion and expertise with others. As a Tour Guide, you will lead groups and private tours on a variety of outdoor adventures, ensuring a safe, informative, and memorable experience for all participants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage hiking tours, overnight camping trips, and wild wedding events.
- Provide informative and engaging commentary on the natural environment, history, and cultural significance of the locations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during tours. - Assist with the setup and breakdown of camping equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local flora, fauna, and geography. - Adhere to environmental and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations with calm and professionalism.

**Requirements**:

- A strong passion for nature and outdoor activities.
- Previous experience in tour guiding, outdoor education, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of physical fitness and stamina. - First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of the Blue Mountains, Kosciuszko National Park, and Wollemi National Park is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
