**To apply, you should have**:

- Previous Coal Seam Gas (On-Shore) Industry experience;
- Certificate IV in Drilling Oil and Gas (Onshore)
- IWCF Level 3 or Level 4 qualification
- DCGI or ISI
- Great work ethic

**What you'll be doing**:

- Training of all crew members on all aspects of the rig operations and equipment
- Accountable and responsible for rig condition and housekeeping
- Organise and complete maintenance requirements on the rig
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of rig operations
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the well program
- Use technology to monitor and report on work progress (Pason system)
- Operate the rig for all required operations
- Advanced knowledge in all well control requirements (kick detection, kill sheets, well control principles)
- Perform and assist the Rig Manager in incident investigation as required
- Show effective leadership in all operations
- Use Savanna safe systems of work (such as permit to work, job hazard analysis and isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out) when undertaking work prescribed by such systems
- Identify potential hazards and prepare appropriate responses
