A multi-national freight forwarder is currently seeking an experienced sea freight operations person to join their expanding team and control the end-to-end processing of import and export sea shipments.
**To be considered for this role you must have import and/or export ocean operations experience within a freight forwarding context.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Heavy focus on export sea operations from booking through to port delivery & cover for import sea operations
- Inputting of data into CW1 and ensure the follow-through of all functions relating to each shipment.
- Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
- Arranging transport in and out.
- Assisting processing of data from company reports and reporting.
- Ad hoc duties as required

**Experience Required**:

- CW1 knowledge is highly desired
- Export sea operations experience essential
- Familiar with export destination regulation e.g. to USA & JAPAN
- Excellent people skills and communications skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- DG Acceptance certificate would be an advantage
- ICS/1-Stop knowledge
