**About the position**:
This role is responsible for processing regular HR transactions such as HRIS administration, preparing and researching employee data, drafting correspondence using templates, updating employment records, and assisting with HR continuous improvement activities and projects.

Reporting directly into the Head of People and supporting other members of a close-knit HR team, this is an ideal opportunity to commence a career in HR for a switched on, energetic person with a 'can-do' attitude and fast learning ability. This is a true entry level role for a HR graduate, or final year HR university student, with exponential room for long-term growth within a high performing and growing critical supply business in Australia.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide administrative support to the broader HR team for continuous improvement HR process.
- Maintain a shared HR inbox through responding to or escalating queries within the team.
- Administrative duties across the employee lifecycle such as ensuring all Job Descriptions are up to date and accessible to employees via their employee file, maintenance of organisational charts, processing talent referrals and drafting various letters including employment confirmation, probationary, and termination.
- Support with recruitment administration including completing background checks.
- Preparation of data to assist with regular HR reporting.
- Enter, review, and extract reports from the various HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Actively participate in on-the-job training and seek opportunities to learn aspects of the employment lifecycle at Coregas.
- Provide administrative support to various HR projects.
- Ensure that current employee benefit programs and initiatives are running smoothly and are updated regularly.
- Support employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations - providing timely advice and support to managers.
- Support other HR related activities as required by the Company.

**What we're looking for**:

- Previous administrative work experience (exposure to HR desirable)
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce or HR (or soon to complete) with a strong academic record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and enjoys a fast-paced environment, with the ability to take initiative and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent attention to detail, and focus on quality in work submissions
- Excellent team player, with strong empathy and focus on supporting others
- Strong administrative capabilities, including with Microsoft Office suite, and experience using databases and other business information systems
- Eligibility to work full time in Australia
