Our client is a manufacturing facility of high quality products. They have a entry level Quality role available for immediate start. Quality Control Technicians will work on the factory floor in in various positions, process and with finished product and packaging materials.

**Responsibility**:

- Housekeeping Checks/ Cleaning Schedule
- Sensory Evaluation Testing/ Product Positive Release
- Environmental Testing - Microbial swabs and Air Plate
- Shelf Life Testing/ Validation and Retention Samples Monitoring and Testing
- Liaise with external laboratory on final product testing i.e microbial, allergen, nutritional and chemical testing
- Weekly Calibration Program
- Quality monitoring checks such as foreign objects, correct weights, label, product, pest activity, accurate recording are being met by production and all CCP/QCP/RCPs are within critical limits.
- Investigate on non-conformances and assist in corrective actions
- Assist in internal/external audits such as but not limited to:

- Monthly GMP Audits
- Hard Plastic/ Foreign Objects Audits
- Traceability - Mock Recalls/ Mass Balance
- Production Record Sheets Monitoring
- Research and development -Assist in product development and R and D projects. Liaising with launching of new products into markets, developing new packaging, up-scaling of product from lab to production scale and improving existing products.
- Observance, respect and following the Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Health and Safety and cleaning procedures.
- Report any Non-conformances to Operational Manager and Quality Co-ordinator.
- Ensure OH&S procedures as described in Induction program are followed by everyone
- Other duties required by the management.

Successful applicants can expect a recruitment process that consists of initial screening and interview conducted by Branched People, before being submitted for client interview, and background checks (medical, police check, and reference).

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
