_**About the Position**_
We are a highly respected church organization. The role of this position is to provide support, consultancy and coaching to parishes and clergy to improve the health of the church. You will also need to be able to use other consultancy tools and methods.
This position is on a full time, permanent basis, based in Western Sydney.
- **Duties**:_
- Offer consulting services to the church on matters related to strategy, financial management, operational improvement, and leadership development
- Conduct assessments to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement effective and efficient solutions aimed at addressing identified gaps
- Provide guidance on legal and compliance matters relevant to the church, including employment laws and taxation regulations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies, procedures, and workflows, and recommend enhancements to ensure the church operates efficiently and effectively
- Guide the church organization in implementing strategic plans, monitoring performance metrics and advising on corrective actions
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and improve the organization's overall risk management processes
- Advise on fundraising strategies and provide support in securing financial resources for the church organization's initiatives
- Support leadership development efforts by providing training, coaching and mentorship opportunities to the church organization's leadership team
- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Legal Studies or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting roles, preferably within non-profit, religious or church organizations
- Strong knowledge of church management, practices, and procedures in finance, governance, and leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide strategic guidance, identify and solve problems, and work collaboratively across all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit tax regulations and compliance best practices
**Salary**: $90,000.00 per year
