- The Position

**St John of John of God Richmond Hospital** is a private mental health hospital in North Richmond, northwest of Sydney providing comprehensive and holistic mental health care services in a tranquil setting on a 10ha historical site.
- We are seeking Housekeepers to join our busy team within our Environmental Services department. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a quality cleaning service in public and other designated areas of our hospital.
- We have Casual positions available across a range of shifts from 6am - 7pm 7 days a week inclduing Public Holidays.
- Applicants with previous experience in an acute hospital setting or similar role will be highly regarded, the positions will involve long periods of time standing and will require some physical ability.

- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to absorb directions and execute
- Work effectively both autonomously and as part of a small team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to act ethically & confidentially
- A strong customer service ethos both within SJOGHC as well as externally. Proven experience in, and sound knowledge of, cleaning methods and procedures
- Complying with requirements of OHS legislation, environmental and quality policies and related OHS responsibilities and procedures developed by SJOGHC
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning practices which supports infection control procedures.
- Demonstrated awareness of and commitment to safe work practices and Chemical handling.
