As our Postie at our Coorparoo site, you’ll be operating and delivering on our 3-Wheeled Electric Delivery Vehicles as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.

You’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that

**You’ll be**
- Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility.
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
- Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day.
- Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses.
- Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development.

**About you**
- You hold a full or probationary Queensland driver’s licence with a good driving history, and are comfortable jumping onto our 3-wheelers.
- On employment, you’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment.
- You're flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if required.
- You have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mail
- You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
- You'll need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing less than 120kgs fully clothed.

- After 3 months probation, base pay of $30.93 + plus 15% shift penalties and 12% super.

**Training and Support**

At Australia Post, our training and induction programs offer support to ensure we set you up for success. You will attend an induction in your first week with our Learning and Development Team followed by a site-specific induction at your respective facility and additional online learning modules. As a new employee, you will receive one-on-one coaching, followed by regular check-ins with your Manager and Trainer to track progress, provide feedback, and discuss any support needed. We assess development at the end of each month during your probationary period, with adjustments or additional training as required. The program includes site-specific inductions and hands-on training, building employees up to full delivery capacity within six weeks. Our approach is flexible, ensuring long-term success and continuous growth.
