Cloud Integration Lead

Lead the Cloud Engineering Team through technology transformation - Permanent position working in a "hands-on" Team Leadership capacity - Exposure to state-of-the-art Azure cloud platform We have a new permanent opportunity available for a **Azure Cloud Integration Leader** **coming from a.Net development background** who has a passion for designing, developing and supporting **Azure Cloud Integrations solutions** in a Microsoft tech-stack environment for this large well-known Enterprise level organisation. This role will provide you with the opportunity to take good ownership of your role day-to-day acting as the Lead Cloud Integration Engineer within the team where you’ll be able to contribute towards new ideas and solutions for the Azure cloud engineering approach, and you will be working on a combination of BAU and project based work to support ongoing technology transformation initiatives. **Day to day activities will include**: - Technical Cloud Engineering, administration & support for Microsoft Azure Cloud technology stacks & Security Operations. - Develop integration solutions, including REST APIs, Event Driven/Queue based integrations and service orchestrations. - Ensure Azure cloud engineering standards in the team are supported at the highest level. - .Net development activities in line with developing integrated Azure cloud solutions and DevOps initiatives. - Planning and technical delivery of integration work packages. - Designing, implementing and supporting Cloud and hybrid workloads. - Provide guidance and ideas regarding the Azure Cloud technical stack with how the organisation can improve its cloud capabilities. - Enhance the current CI/CD processes to support new and existing development. - Configuration, rollout and maintenance of Azure Cloud solutions. - Working with existing Cloud Engineers & Infrastructure Engineer’s with focus on evolving on-premise infrastructure towards automation, cloud and DevOps engineering principles & techniques. - Drive innovation with Azure cloud solutions and challenge the status quo. - Work closely with business stakeholders on technical road maps, vision, and technical requirements. - Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer on pragmatic balance between tech, BAU and project work. **Skills & experience required in this role**: - Proven experience working in Cloud Engineering & Administration within medium to large Enterprises. - Experience with Automation and implementing CI/CD processes. - Experience in a commercial cloud infrastructure environment offering Azure Cloud Design and Cloud Migrations. - Possess strong working knowledge of Azure and Azure functions, IPaaS, Service Bus, Logic Apps, APIM. - **Experienced in multiple relevant programming languages eg: C#,.Net Core,.NET API's, SQL.**: - Experience managing cloud solution design, security and implementation in Azure Cloud technology stacks. - Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform) - Good experience Containerisation and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Solid experience developing and supporting API and API management solutions Experience with Azure Public Cloud. - Strong understanding of DevOps as a core delivery philosophy to support cloud initiatives. - Proven experience with scripting Languages and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Python and PowerShell. - Strong Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and governance including networking, policy and security concepts and capabilities. - Demonstrated ability to perform proofs-of-concept for validating new technologies or approaches. - Have exceptional communication skills that can be used to effectively work with key stakeholders. - Microsoft Azure cloud certifications.
