**About the role**:
This role offers the opportunity to take charge of terminal operations at Aurizon’s Gillman Terminal in Adelaide. Ensuring seamless resource deployment, optimal asset utilisation, and top-tier customer service. You'll be at the forefront of driving safety and operational efficiency, while fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

- Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety standards and initiatives.
- Lead and support employees through coaching, performance management, and engagement.
- Oversee resource allocation and operational efficiency to meet business and customer needs.
- Monitor financial budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities to maximise revenue.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business objectives and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards.

**About you**:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven leader with a strong background in logistics and operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for driving efficiency and safety. Your ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and optimise processes will be key to success in this role.

You will ideally have:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a logistics or heavy industrial environment.
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale logistics operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence diverse work groups.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to optimise operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, preferably within the road and rail industry.
