**Salary**: $70K + superannuation

We are an Australian Manufacturer producing têxtile products for a variety of industries including: health, agriculture & defence.

We are looking to broaden the scope of our offered services & increase our product range with a shift into upholstered goods, specialized custom furniture & motor trimming.

We are offering a full time position in our business for an upholsterer who has extensive skills in a variety of areas of upholstery.

**Duties**:

- The applicant must have experience in motor trimming, furniture building, pattern making, fabric manipulation.
- Repair / rebuild and create a variety of products including: padded crates, automotive seating, upholstered furniture for industrial use.
- Ability to sew with industrial sewing machines
- Following design guidelines to make the required upholstered products
- Attaching trims, buttons and other finishing touches as required and determined during briefing with clients.
- Adding padding where required to furniture for both comfort and design aspects
- Seaming pillows, and joining sections of material to industrial strengths
- Covering spring units for mattress toppers and products

As this is a new role, we are looking for someone who works independently, self
- motivated, is creative and has a vast knowledge of all medium and tools.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
