**Schedule**:

- Day Shift (typically between 8am and 3pm)
- Monday to Thursday (occasionally Friday)
- Typically 3 days per week, with additional hours/ days at peak times, and reduced during School Holidays.
- Location: Rydalmere, NSW

**Overview**

Matrix Traffic and Transport Data specialises in traffic surveys, research, data collection and information analysis within the traffic and transport field.

Thanks to ongoing growth, Matrix seeks a Warehouse Assistant/ General Hand to join our team. This role could be ideal for a retired/ semi-retired individual looking to supplement their income, and keep busy & active.

This role involves organisation, maintenance and testing of traffic survey equipment, supplies, other warehouse tasks and supporting our vehicle fleet from time to time.

We welcome applicants of all levels of experience, as we can teach our equipment, systems and processes on the job. More importantly, we need applicants to come prepared with enthusiasm to learn, attention to detail, problem solving and consistency as well as a safety-first mindset.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Organisation of the warehouse and workshop
- Clean and test survey equipment after it returns from field survey work
- Prepare equipment ready for pickup by survey installation teams
- Assisting in the coordination of field vehicles, e.g. driving to service, cleaning, etc.)

**Important Skills & Qualifications**
- Experience with Computers, Microsoft Office (Basic to Intermediate)
- Physically Fit - must able to work regularly with objects weighing 5 kgs for much of the day, up to 15kg occasionally.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks, completed consistently to a high standard
- Drivers licence mandatory (Manual is desirable but not essential)
- White card desirable but not essential;
- Full Australian working rights

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
