**Permanent Part-time Kitchen Assistant**

Riverview Lutheran Rest Home Inc aims to provide excellence in Christian Care and is currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the Riverview team. Riverview is a well respected Aged care provider with a talented and highly dedicated team of staff that truly care for the well being of our residents and their families.

Riverview is located in Loxton; a town on the south bank of the sunny River Murray in the Riverland region of South Australia. Loxton is approximately 3hrs drive North East of Adelaide and is a friendly, village like community that offers a wonderful lifestyle.

**Position Overview**:
The Kitchen Assistant will assist with the preparation and serving of food for the Riverview kitchen and dining rooms. The Kitchen Assistant is also responsible for the preparation of dining rooms, collection and washing of dishes, and ensuring the kitchen is left in a clean and tidy manner. The Kitchen Assistant will adhere to all Riverview policies and procedures, and legislative food hygiene requirements.
- **Qualifications and Requirements**:_
- **Essential**_
- Holds and maintains satisfactory Police or NDIS check no more than 3 years old
- Understanding of legislative food hygiene requirements
- Evidence of 2025 Influenza vaccination
- **Desirable**_
- Experience in catering and food preparation
- Previous experience in aged care setting

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
