Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.
Glenbrook Residential Aged Care Facility located in Nambour is a standalone forty-five bed facility that accommodates older persons requiring residential permanent and/or respite care, mental health sub-acute care as well as those participating in residential transition care. The model of care differs across programs but is person centred and quality focussed.
Your key responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for own actions whilst contributing to positive patient outcomes by undertaking tasks that support person centred care as delegated and supervised by the Clinical Nurse (CN) and Registered Nurse (RN). Work may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse (EN)
- Adhere to established guidelines, standards, protocols and systems of work
- Demonstrate a positive contribution to teamwork and take responsibility for effective and timely communication with colleagues, patients and their carers.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development and ensure that skills and knowledge relating to work remain current.
