We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to join our team and help us continue delivering an outstanding experience to our patrons.

**Position Overview**:
As the Duty Manager at The Southern, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. If you have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen personnel.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in staff training and development to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
- Implement and enforce pub policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service and responsible drinking.
- Coordinate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $36.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
