Underwater Photographer

Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for another Underwater Photographer to join the Brisbane Liquid Pix team

Liquid Pix is a Brisbane Underwater Photography company who provides high quality, underwater portraits to families whose children are enrolled in Learn-To-Swim schools around Southeast Queensland. About you:
You must be based in Brisbane and be confident and energetic with a great work ethic. We are looking for someone who has some photography knowledge and experience, who can work well under pressure. You will be organised and love working with children.

**Requirements**:

- You will be expected to have sound “above” water photography skills that includes a knowledge of shutter speed and aperture, working with flash/strobes and an understanding of colour temperature.
- Your own transport is required as we travel to different venues around the Southeast, throughout the year.
- A Bluecard, or willing to obtain one.
- As well as underwater photography, you will be required to talk to families on pool deck and keep clear and concise records of the children you are photographing.
- You do not need to be an exceptional swimmer; however you will need to be confident in the water and love the idea of working in it
- Availability to travel interstate for week long stays a handful of times throughout the year (ACT, WA and regional QLD).

Hours:
~8.30-12noon OR 3-6pm
~Weekends: 7.30am - 12noon
- Full training and equipment will be provided.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.50 - $32.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Photography: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Blue Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
