**Your new role**

A Support Manager - Supply is required for a position at the head office in Canberra within the Integrated Logistics Support team. As a Supply Support Manager, you will ensure the business has the appropriate enterprise level supply support organisation, people, processes, data and tools in place to provide turnkey supply support services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) customers.
- Implementing the approved Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program (i.e. MILIS / SAP) into internal business practices to provide responsive support to customers.
- Training the logistics and warehouse personnel in the use of the Defence ERP Program and processes to support acquisition and sustainment contract logistics outcomes.
- Collaborating closely with Project Managers, ILS Engineering staff, Procurement and Warehouse staff.
- Establishing and maintaining a Defence ERP account accessed through the Defence Protected Network. Training and managing direct reports to successfully fulfil the roles of Supply Support Officers, and
- Engaging with ADF stakeholders and customers to ensure end user supply support demands are met and satisfied on time.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- AGSVA - Baseline at commencement
- A high level of analytical, problem solving and communication skills with the ability to make sounds recommendations to internal Senior Managers and Commonwealth Stakeholders.
- Comprehensive logistics qualifications, training and experience in acquisition or sustainment organisations.
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills to build positive, productive relationships.
- Advanced level of competency with Defence ERP tools (i.e. MILIS / SAP)
- Level of competency with MS Office Programs
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Eligible for an **Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (AGSVA)**:

- Australian Defence Force logistics experience (Commercial or uniform)
- Desirable
- Research and / or professional writing skills to document systems and process for sustainability
- Desirable
