Sketching Teacher

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled **Sketching Teacher** to lead structured sketching classes for children aged 4 and above at our Mt Waverley campus.
This role focuses exclusively on foundational sketching techniques such as line work, structure, proportions, composition, and shading — aimed at building a strong base for visual arts.

We are looking for someone with a professional background in sketching and a passion for teaching young students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver age-appropriate sketching lessons focusing on fundamental drawing principles
- Teach basic techniques such as contour drawing, light and shadow, still-life studies, and facial structure
- Design and adapt class content to suit different student skill levels
- Foster a focused, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Provide occasional feedback to parents on student progress
- Prepare teaching materials and manage class setup/pack-down

**Requirements**:

- Formal training in sketching, fine arts, visual arts, or a related discipline
- Previous experience teaching sketching, especially to children, is highly preferred
- Strong command of sketching techniques and visual structuring
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in early arts education
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain
